Lee Sambol, the owner and founder of The Source, was first introduced to the world of printing when he took a vocational printing class in high school. He quickly found out that he really enjoyed the creative and manufacturing side of the industry.

By age 17, he already knew what he wanted to do with his life. Three days after graduating from high school, he got his first job as a small press operator. It was here that he realized that he still had a lot to learn about the field.

Lee loved what he did and he absorbed as much knowledge as he could. Today, after more than 35 years of experience, he has worked in nearly every aspect of the field.

Most of his career was spent as a salesperson working for large commercial printers. Lee was very successful at this job because of his previous experience in production. This had allowed him to provide quick answers and real-world solutions for various projects.

Unfortunately, working for big corporate printing companies usually involved a lot of internal politics. Lee had to go through several obstacles that had nothing to do with making his customers happy or getting projects done on time. He knew that there was a better way to do what he loved, which is why he decided to establish The Source in 2013.

As a distributor, Lee has a large manufacturing base with multiple trade printers at his disposal. This allows him to have projects manufactured at facilities that best fit the requirements for the job.
